Grass-fed Lamb
Our grass-fed lamb is a result of selective breeding, proper raising, and managed grazing. We raise a hair sheep breed strictly for meat. Our main breed is Katahdin with a few mixes. Sheep are a natural companion for cattle. Each are a dead end host for the others parasites. Our sheep are often moved daily with the cattle which has a positive impact on pasture since sheep will eat forage that cattle will not.
Our sheep are raised and finished on 100% managed pastures that are:
- Growth hormone free
- No antibiotic laced feeds
- Grain free - which results in a better omega 3 to omega 6 ratio
- Pesticide free
- Fields are free from chemical fertilizers
Our grass-fed lamb is sold by the whole.
